Heroes
Hero NFTs come in two varieties:
Genesis Heroes: The total Genesis population will be capped at 2,800. Currently, 2,500 of these heroes will be available for public mint, while 50 will be reserved for team members and seed investors, and another 250 for marketing activations. These heroes control the entire hero supply. Only Genesis heroes can find summoning shards while questing. These shards can be consumed at the Adventuring Guild to produce a new, randomly generated Rift Hero. Genesis heroes when minted are always rare at a minimum.
Rift Heroes: These heroes come into existence when Genesis heroes find summoning shards while questing. Rift heroes cannot find summoning shards. Rift heroes can be anywhere from common rarity to mythic rarity when minted.
