Hero rarity influences how often NFT items are found. For Genesis heroes, this means their rarity will influence drop rates of Summoning Shards and Skillbooks. For Rift heroes, this means their rarity influences the drop rate of Skillbooks only. Hero Rarity Odds
For Non-Boosted Genesis Heroes, their rarity is:
Rare: 75%
Legendary: 20%
Mythic: 5%
For Boosted Genesis Heroes, their rarity is:
Rare: 62.5%
Legendary: 30%
Mythic: 7.5%
For Non-Boosted Rift Heroes, their rarity is:
Common: 55%
Uncommon: 25%
Rare: 12%
Legendary: 6%
Mythic: 2%
For Boosted Rift Heroes, their rarity is:

Rarity Benefits
For Summoning Shards (Genesis Heroes only), the rarity benefits are as follows:
Rare: +20% drop rate
Legendary: +30% drop rate
Mythic: +40% drop rate
For Skillbooks (Rift and Genesis Heroes), the rarity benefits are as follows:
Common: +0% drop rate
Uncommon: +1.9% drop rate
Rare: +3.6% drop rate
Legendary: +5.4% drop rate
Mythic: +7.0% drop rate
Genesis Heroes have a minimum rarity of Rare, while Rift Heroes can be anywhere from Common to Mythic.
Hero rarity is denoted by the banner on top of the Hero card. It is also denoted within the text details on the back of the Hero card.
